Beautiful, Mary! I think close-ups of nature are my favorite type of photo. If I lived near this field, I would just sit for awhile and listen to the wind rattling the oats, and I'd be quite content. smile

Milled and then then cooked with milk = porridge; love it! I love the colour in this, it really typifies autumn.
Mary MacADNski: These are harvested in September usually. I like them cooked too.
I really like this picture Mary, what a wonderful colour. Give me plate of Porridge and I'll eat it all up.

Very nice close-up Mary it bring out the golden colour and texture of the oats with great DOF... Penny was picking raspberries next to a golden field oats a while back ago and i didn't have a camera with me... the next time that i passed the pasture had been harvested... i am still kicking myself for missing it the shot....petersmile
