Great pic. Remember the 80s band, A Flock of Seagulls? smile
Mary MacADNski: I avoided that in my title, because of that.
GREAT capture Mary... the gulls seem to have liked what they found in the field that had just been tilled....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Freshly dug worms, laid right out for them
great shot
Mary MacADNski: I got lots that day.
..they could also found the place safe for overnighting and /or nesting (they do it on ground, preferably elevated. I think that the species is Larus canus (Mew gull)?
Mary MacADNski: They are enjoying the freshly dug worms. A real banquet laid out for them. We have many gull species but I am not knowledgeable about them. I love them though and have lots of photos of them in my archives.

Funny place to seek fish, heh!

By the way, Mary...I think you have solved the riddle of the gulls missing from Bangkok!
Mary MacADNski: We have a lot of gulls and they love the freshly dug worms. A real banquet laid out for them.
They really enjoy picking over newly ploughed fields don't they.
Mary MacADNski: They certainly do. Worms galore!
I see they've lost their dodgy hair-do's smile
Mary MacADNski: A dry day.
