Lovely Capture Mary! I love how you managed the rain drops on the berries and the color is fantastic.
Mary MacADNski: Was nice to see them like that when I went outside with just having seen them on the screen all bright and shiny, I couldn't resist.
Both the berries and the soft background make this a memorable photo. Are those climbing roses in the back?
Mary MacADNski: They are apples on the ground.

Outstanding...glace cherries take a shower.

The backdrop is purty, too.
Mary MacADNski: Apples on the ground form the backdrop.
It looks just as lovely - a beautiful shot!
Mary MacADNski: We were just hanging out.
It is a beautiful shot Mary.... and i am so glad that you still have the warm weather to be able to capture these cramberries with the water dripping off of them... love it....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: It was cold the last few days. Brrr....

Perfect for the Thanksgiving week coming up for us Americans, Mary. (Sigh--it's the one holiday I miss the most while over here in Dutch country!)
Mary MacADNski: You would not be eating these. Cranberries that we eat are dryer and much different. Highbush cranberries are bushes with berries for wildlife. The cranberry we eat is grown in bogs.

Both shots are beautiful.
Wonderful DOF.
I never saw Cranberries in the wild.
Do you pick them and make them into jam?

Very well taken too: lovely shot Mary
Mary MacADNski: Almost every one was blurry, to tell you the truth.
as time goes by
Mary MacADNski: You think in music like me?
I like cranberries. this is a great picture with the water droplets hanging from the berries Mary
Mary MacADNski: These are not cranberries, just share a name. These grow in a bush and are moist and juicy. Cranberries grow in boggy ground and are dense and kind of dry. People don't eat these but animals do. They are edible though.

a wonderful photo- and I love the rain droplets that may enhance the red berries themselves - I often drink cranberries juice, full of vitamine C and in general very healthy!

can you eat these?
Mary MacADNski: You can but wouldn't. They are for wildlife. Here's a link:

There seem to be even more berries per inch here Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I've never seen as many flowers on the bush as there were this spring.

There was a picture of PEI cranberries in our paper. Huge land full of berries.
Nice shot, like in 'nice to eat' smile I love cranberry juice.

Ufff!, fantastic, frío y calor...Besos!
Mary MacADNski: These berries feed wildlife. They are good to attract birds into your yard.
Oh yes this is a very good one Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Certainly a different look to the day.

Very popular with brown and black bears, I believe. I also like them on my porridge in the mornings. I like how they stand out from the background.

They do look good enough to eat, but I have just read what you say about them, Mary. Love the colour
Mary MacADNski: They are wonderful for wildlife though.
