Prettiest time of year for the Oak.

Mary MacADNski: I agree. I saw a perfectly uniform, brown-leafed oak the other day that was outstanding

Mary MacADNski: There's such a range of colour in this one tree.

Noble tree. Like the contrast with the grey herbs, the space on the right.

Mary MacADNski: It is a good colour contrast. The tree is trying so hard to outdo the scene that I insisted it attend the dress up ball.

Autumn glory Mary

Mary MacADNski: Some things make you want to share. LOL

This is completely different to an English Oak.

Mary MacADNski: There are quite a few oaks. Some have perfectly brown leaves in autumn.

The grey spears breaking into the frame make this picture, Mary.

These leaves look much bigger than an English Oak. I like the different shades of the fall in this.

Mary MacADNski: They are and they're a bit floppier. The Eng Oak's leaves are stiffer.
