Johnny?

I wanted to get a shot of the gorgeous light from an evening commute last week. This was the best of my three choices.

Certainly grabbed a screenful of that light, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Had to grab it when I could, at places like stoplights.
Gorgeous capture Mary! With the sun shining on the weeds it has turned them to gold which is very eye catching.
Mary MacADNski: I was trying to capture the light but had on time with the slow speed at which my camera re-energises.
The light on the trees is wonderful!!
Mary MacADNski: It was beautiful. The morning light this morning was beautiful but it is my day off so I am not on the commute today.

Well the light is certainly very agreeable here Mary. Is Johnny coming home from work?
Mary MacADNski: Maybe going to work at one of the stores across the intersection.
The colours are gorgeous - the whole picture sort of glows.
Mary MacADNski: The light was astounding and this stop in traffic was my only chance.
Johnny sure looks cool Mary.... but he is in the shadows and the trees are filled with golden sunshine.... great composition....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Peter. Lucky to get him in shadow so we experience both lights.
Great light. Great song. Great singer (who I have seen live twice and she is dynamite!)
Mary MacADNski: I would love to see her. She has a great energy.
the trees almost look gold
Mary MacADNski: It was so pretty!

It is a good song to go with a fine picture.
Mary MacADNski: Bill said he has seen this singer twice. I am jealous.

That's why I enjoy the autumn and winter; the quality of the light is usually much better. Is the pedestrian going to obey the lights, I wonder? wink
Mary MacADNski: I think he is crossing when it is green - that is good.
Great lights association. Imelda is great too. Through her (through you) I have discovered amazing Seasick Steve in the Tube.
Mary MacADNski: I will check out Seasick Steve! I love new discoveries.
beautiful smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much.
As you say, Mary - the light is wonderful!
Mary MacADNski: It's all about the light.

Wow Mary, I have never seen such golden light, its fantastic smile
Mary MacADNski: As you've seen, that night's commute only got better.
That really is lovely light Mary, and Johnny? is positioned in the ideal spot.
Mary MacADNski: I hope he doesn't mind having his picture taken.
Delightful the late sun illuminates the trees well
Mary MacADNski: Autumn light can be so beautiful.
ah, the golden hour...
Mary MacADNski: It only got better.

Very nice, great light.
Mary MacADNski: It got better and better as I've shown with the shots following.
