I know two persons (mentioned on SC) who have today birthday - I like your colourful Christmas tree picture with the baloons, it is cheering up. Our tree will be adorned in the following days with some traditional decorations and real candles. The tree belongs to the most beautiful things of Christmas in my feeling, my mother used to say: It smells of wood in our living room, and she is right.

My younger brother celebrated his birthday yesterday. It is so hard to find a birthday fro him with all the Christmas cards. Oddly, I thought the whole point of Christmas was celebrated the birthday of someone...

Great festive sight Mary... our son's 41st birthday was last Sat and we celebrated it with nice a dinner, cake and gifts... but it always seems that they get shortchanged because it is so close to Christmas....petersmile
