It has an elegant, perhaps serious, brow.

You are onto my music tastes, Mary...Franklin, Odetta, Mahalia Jackson [of course, along with Tom Waits] are among my most favourite singers.
Mary MacADNski: I have a folder of each and the entire Waits collection up to about '08 and a ton of Aretha. She's on my desert island collection.
Ah I love that ! What a great shap it's taken on!
Mary MacADNski: It was thaken the same day as this one:

It was my favorite photo of the year. I have painted it and plan to do it again some day.

Good choice of songgrin
Mary MacADNski: Yes, good music. It was quite a morning to drive around and look at drifts. Here's another:

Well composed and taken, not a footprint in sight.

Excellent capture.
Mary MacADNski: Another, from the same day:

Mmmmm... lovely! I like the sparkles on this as the sun picks out some of the flakes in the drift. Was there some wind to cause the drift.
Mary MacADNski: Yes a huge gale would have caused this.

Great snow here, rather jealous Mary.
Mary MacADNski: From another year, I'm afraid. This one was taken after a storm, the same day as this:

Like a cresting wave... wow...
Fortunately we don't usually get them that big round my way but it does look quite spectacular.

Your pristine white snowdrifts have very sculptural qualities. The one in the link is especially beautiful.
Mary MacADNski: I did a painting of the link and it was in a show.
That's a very serious snow drift, Mary!!
Mary MacADNski: Absolutely.
