Kenz Turning Around

A cat's heart beats twice as fast as a human heart,

at about 140 beats per minute.

 

Kenz has been feeling poorly again.  I'm treating her according to her vet's advisement but she is not improving. She has been like this before but rallied so I hope for the best.


I wrote that on Wednesday and now on Thursday, tell you that Kenz passed away this evening.  She was 13, only middle aged for a cat. 


I am going to miss how she is always at the door waiting for me to come in. I will also miss her happy purring and her poses  - for evermore.

Oh! That is sad, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, it feels different here, like something is missing.
That's a hard one, Mary...I'm sorry. She looks so much like our best cat that died some years ago, aged 15-ish. We still miss her. We'll miss your photos of her.
Mary MacADNski: I will have to work hard on getting shots of Bella an there are lots more of Kenz.

Oh, that is very sad, and I know how you are loving all your cats! Yes, it must be like losing a dear human being! I would like to cuddle her soft coat. Good to have some photos of her.
Mary MacADNski: I have lots op pictures of her. She did not mind the camera at all.
Oh Mary, I am so Sorry to hear your sad news,she was a lovely cat, I can understand how much you will miss her.

My heart goes out to you. In our house, we're cat people and understand your sadness. I'll miss seeing Kenz here.
Mary MacADNski: Thank you so much! She was very special. She and Bella and two orange males were born in a boat and the mother abandoned them. They imprinted on humans.

Sorry to hear this Mary, we all become so attached to our beloved animals they are such good company.

Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Larry. I am feeling a large hole. I'm sure you'll see her again. She can't just disappear.
It is hard to loose such a loving friend Mary after 13 years but you have so many photos of Kenz that are dear to you...
Our dog is 12 now and has bone chips in this left shoulder... he limps and has a hard time with stairs... but we give him a lot of help... Buddy is our second Spaniel in 20 years... when they are gone we miss them very much... we only waited three months before we got him.

Mary MacADNski: Bella is a bit overweight but still healthy. Kenz had health issues for a couple of years. She was a trooper and lasted much longer than I thought she would. Ourdoors, in the snow, three times the day she died. - liked snow very much.
I'm sorry to hear that Mary; I recall admiring Kenz in a previous photo
Mary MacADNski: She has been here for most Saturday for 6or more years./
Oh, I'm terribly sorry to hear that, Mary - losing a cat is like losing a family member. I've wept every time. Still you have some wonderful pictures to remember her by and this one is a stunner!

Dear Mary, I am so sorry to read the sad news. She was a beautiful cat, you lost a dear friend.
Mary MacADNski: She was a very special cat that was always "my" cat. Bella hung around with the rest of the family and Kenz hung around me.
Oh Mary I'm so sorry. She was always such a beautiful model for you, I always enjoy your images of her. I'm sure you will miss her terribly. My heart is with you, as is her spirit.

I'm so sorry to hear of this Mary, albeit several days later. I have tears in my eyes thinking about the loss of your girl. I still miss my two, and dear Sooty has been gone for four years now.

..his mum was only 9 when she went.
Mary MacADNski: I've lost younger cats to cars and things like that but never through illness.
