We don't seem to have had Starlings in the garden for the last few years. They are very entertaining birds, especially when they are squabbling over the feeders!
Mary MacADNski: A lot of people would say that the English could have some back. I like them but many do not.

Yes, a darling, a wonderful close-up of the feathers coat/cloth of this bird that appears to enjoy the warm sun rays, too -I like the jungle of branches!

Hope you made it down the road yesterday! We had black ice too this morning, good thing it was gone when I had to go to work)
Mary MacADNski: The plow fellow arrived just after we talked. The ice stayed for two days though.
