They look rather like Ice Trees, Mary.

One of my favorite things about winter, Mary, is when the trees ice up like this...and then are backlit by the sun. Magical!
Mary MacADNski: It was gorgeous to drive in but I had deadlines and schedules so did not have a lot of time for stopping.
Just look at those trees sparkling! Beautifully captured. (:o)

Mary MacADNski: Winter started here Feb first this year it seems and we have had wintery weather since. Beautiful yesterday though at plus 7.
I love the blue sky and the snow, and the way the sun is making it twinkle in the trees. Lovely.

That really is ice and not snow, it is beautiful, the trees look magical smile

Glorious! Don't they just sparkle in the sunlight. I bet road was a challenge unless it was gritted.
Mary MacADNski: The roads were sanded but at some places not enough. I have studded snow tires . I worry about the other ones who foolishly do not.
