That must have been quite a site after Sunday when you went out.
Nature can be so beautiful!
Love the reflection of the light in the ice.
Wonderful picture. (I hope you were careful on the ice)
Mary MacADNski: This was Tuesday and the ice was still on the trees. Where I work they got hardly any ice and mostly snow. The further in the opposite direction I went for Tues painting group, the more ice there was. Even further than that it was very thick ice where electricity was out for a while.
totally encased in ice, makes a great picture
Mary MacADNski: It is pretty but can be dangerous too.
trully amazing Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It was certainly pretty out there.

This is so striking, Mary - caught before it thaws
This is gorgeous, it is sparkling and glowing. It looks like a large crystal, or a neon / fibre optic light.

This is just lovely, love the sparkling light on the ice! I would love to see the trees looking like this smile I wished I lived closer grin
Love those sparkles of light you've captured here, Mary.

Strange how something so utterly beautiful can also be so destructive; brings back memories of the 1998 ice storm.
