I got out snowshoeing twice today on my day off.  I changed the ISO to 80 by mistake.  A pity as most shots taken in this morning session were taken at that film speed.

Looks perfectly fine to me, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It worked perfectly well sometimes but altered some of the shots i was trying to make.
You know, I think it was a happy accident- I love how soft the whole image looks! I think it's really lovely!
Mary MacADNski: It was sunny and that band of cloud began to grow in the sky. It was so beautiful!

Snowshoeing sounds like fun and it gives the 'Alone in the world' feeling, I guess.
I am sorry about the ISO. This one turned out to be beautiful though.
Mary MacADNski: The 80 worked well enough for most shots but I was trying something specific and did not realize I had moved it. I absolutely love, love, love snowshoeing.
Not a mistake! The pic has been perfect ...I Love the softness of the light and texture of the snow.

Surely ISO 80 is fine in bright snow Mary?

No complaining from me, Mary, as this gives the sense of being out at the edge of the world!

I expect that snow shoes are fun Mary, I have never had the privilege to try them. Walking through snow with wellington boots is very hard work.
Mary MacADNski: It brings great pleasure to walk over the snow and go places you can't go in boots. The woods especially are spectacular. A bonus there is that you can't get lost.
Like the word, snowshoeing, never heard. But that blue is really fulfilling for the iso accident.

I love this winter-snow-photo with only a few footprints and traces, and a broad stripe of blue sky! I like also the composition, one frame on the right side! A wonderful picture, indeed!

A fine shot Mary. With all the light reflected back from the snow ISO80 should have been generally o.k.

Nice shot, the sky almost looks like a lit continuation of the snow.
