Sprouted Grain

Grain and oilseed crops are second but almost as plentiful as potato fields. I'm not sure what kind of grain is growing here.

I don't recognise it, Mary, but it looks like whoever sowed it had a few beers!

Methinks there has been a lot of fertiliser sown with the seed, Mary...it all looks vigorous.

These lines look quite wavy after the precision of the potato drills yesterday.

I like these fields with their gentle green - the grains here have already grown up here that we can say what kind of grain...

Mary MacADNski: I actually think this is corn. Our grain fields have all peen planted long ago as well.

I like the wavy lines here. It;s not a crop I recognise. I wrecked my iPhone walking through wet chest-high oilseed rape.
