photoblog image Alma and Birds

Alma and Birds

"While some scientists believe cats were domesticated

by being trained to kill mice in granaries,

others think that cats were 'self-domesticating' -

they found mutual benefits living closely with humans."

Another shot of Alma looking up at the birds and the shot I was talking about last week of the birds looking down at her.  Our resident birds are safe and sound again, not having to worry one bit about Bella.

I think cats saw an opportunity for free board & lodgings...and grabbed it with all paws.

Send her down here Mary there's plenty of unwelcome visitors in our garden.
Lovely shot of Alma, Mary. I think the second idea is most likely! smile
Cats have an embedded ability to use anything and everybody to their personal advantage and satisfaction. Jeckyll and Hyde personna.
A little drama is re-enacted...
Cats were once worshipped and have not forgotten this smile

Ours are, happily, pretty useless at catching birds

She is determined to get those birds. I thing the birds are safe from Alma in any case. Sounds like she has gone home now?
I got a couple of dodgy looking black and white ones coming in eyeing up the bird feeder area and possibly using my garden as a toilet. They are told to go forth and multiply but i have had cats before and am not anti cat I like your pics
animal instinct regardless of the gourmet food you give her ha?
What a beautiful girl.
Mary MacADNski: So much like Clarke.
