Somber Blue Jay

The Blue Jay is PEI's Provincial bird.

Mary MacADNski: Not at all, Ray. The manual is available only on disc and I usually wear out my manual. Also I've not had a spare moment.

This is a fabulous capture, Mary. He shows up so crisp and clear against that wonderful back light. A keeper for sure!

What a beauty. You have positioned this very well; no distrractions distractions directly behind the bird. I wonder what they make of the cold?

Mary MacADNski: They don't seem to mind it. None of the winter birds do.
