Spring Bouquet

When I started this series last week, the weather was delightful and the snow was disappearing before our eyes.  On Friday, it snowed and on Wednesday, it snowed and now white covers the land again. The calendar says it is spring though, so let's celebrate.  I'm bringing the flowers.

Wonderful presentation Mary! The flowers are beautiful against the snow backdrop. We got 8 inches today sad I am so sick of winter.
Mary MacADNski: The Wednesday I am talking about is today. We are always one day after you.

Fabulous image, Mary.

Really like the stems. like ghosts, in the vase.
Mary MacADNski: The vase is both green and yellow. The stems seen through a patch of yellow does make them stand out somewhat.
Thanks for bringing your Spring flowers out to your snow hut Mary... we took off to SC for a few weeks because it hasn't stopped snowing at our place either grin....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Have a great time and absorb all the vitamin D you can.

They cheer the heart, Mary - our winter shows no sign of abating either, though we haven't had more snow in the south. This is quite lovely
Mary MacADNski: Pretty well all of Canada has had a blast of winter in the last day or so.

a wonderful photo - and I can dream of a spring day at the sea - I love the background almost more than the lovely bunch of tulips!
Mary MacADNski: They are more exciting at this location than on the kitchen table.
There has been snow in the UK too. Happily not where I live. But there are daffs in the garden and even a couple of tulips so what the heck.
Mary MacADNski: Last week when the snow all disappeared I could see the tips of daffodils but they are covered in white again.
Spring equinox is officially tomorrow ... you seem to be ahead of the game.
Mary MacADNski: It starts at 8:02 am my time today. Look it up.

This is superb Mary, flowers to remind us of spring and snow to remind us that winter has not quite finished. The focus, composition and background are perfect.
Mary MacADNski: You are too kind, Chad. I was just enjoying the flowers on the kitchen table while looking out at a terrible snowstorm as the background, not the sunny day in this scene. It is depressing to enter spring with a snowstorm.
A nice contrast... Snow here too.
Mary MacADNski: Didn't you get it yesterday too? Many places are closed here today.

It may not feel better, but it looks better when the flowers are off-set against the white and ice-blue background. Excellent.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Louis. Fall has arrived for you, I guess.
Great image Mary: a collision of seasons!
Mary MacADNski: I like that description!
Gorgeous! They contrast so beautifully with the winter white and the blue shadows. Would love to have that vase of tulips sitting on my table today.
Mary MacADNski: You should see this vase full of daffodils!

yes, good idea! It is the first day of spring and these tulips are a delight. I like the view through the vase, too.
Mary MacADNski: I love this vase. Daffodils look great in it and lilacs are a delight.
What a delightful vase of spring flowers. WE also have snow returning in parts of the country.
Mary MacADNski: We got perfect snowman snow and it is march break. I bet there are some pretty awesome snowmen out there after today's storm.
Thank you for this wonderful present Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Happy Spring!
Lovely colours in that gorgeous light Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It was a nice day that day. Not so nice today.
