This is a real nice shot. I just love the color Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Eventually this green barley field was a beautiful golden field.

Unusual...but no bad thing!

Looks like you caught a bug on the tip of one stalk, too.
Mary MacADNski: That fellow was a bonus among the barley.

Perhaps, that is exactly why I like it. smile
Mary MacADNski: Nice to hear from you VZ. There are many places to explore in a field.
I can almost feel the wind whispering through your grass Mary... beautiful image....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: On PEI wind tends to howl it's whispers.
Well yes, but very elegant!
Mary MacADNski: There are many views in a field.

Mary MacADNski: It is barley so a while later it was golden.

A fine contrast from your earlier fields, and why not?
Mary MacADNski: You can look at a field from many different angles.

A pleasing one though
Mary MacADNski: I remember the morning I took these, so warm and gorgeous, the purple poppies behind me.
Works for me Mary. Very pleasing
Mary MacADNski: Oh, those summer days.

I hope to see these colours very soon, in our fields.....
Great shot and that little fella is on the look out for Summer..
Mary MacADNski: You have returned! We are all looking for some warmer weather it seems. This green barley field soon became golden after a summer of sunshine.

very nice view of the grass
Mary MacADNski: It is a barley crop. A month or so later and it was pure white gold.

Love the little insect surveying all around it Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I wonder if he feels lost.
...fly day of fame, perhaps
Mary MacADNski: He could be lost, afraid of life away from mama.
Beautiful, so many shades of green and such structure in the grasses.
Mary MacADNski: The stiff barley beards are quite structural. You can look at a field from many different angles.

Not so unorthodox. This would be the lover's view.
Mary MacADNski: Ha ha. That might be right.
But a very fine abstract view of a field Mary.
Mary MacADNski: There are many angles to a view.
I like it, Mary,made by the d.o.f.
Mary MacADNski: Absolutely it is the DOF here. I am glad you like it.
Thought this was a bottle brush close up at first ... how about that for an unorthodox comment.
Mary MacADNski: You have slimy water if your bottle brush is green. LOL
Positively abstract, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: A wonderful thought. Thank you.

Works for me. Its rather like an abstract.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, with an identifying insect
Unusual but so beautiful and delicate Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Just a little bit in view.
Perhaps it's unorthodox... but it's a fine photo...
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Larry. Made a leap from the landscape mode.
Beautiful Mary, lovely greens and selective DOF.
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Sarah. Those greens eventually turned to gold.
Lovely delicate textural capture Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Fred. It is all about texture here.
