Field of View 14

This was in the unassigned bin as is another I will show tomorrow. I think I showed a different version of this before, a much different POV. It is a potato field that had a good fast rain at sometime in the past few days.

gobsmacked
Mary MacADNski: You will soon enough be a rural man again.
This is a wonderful photo Mary! Reminds me of a Wyeth painting.
Mary MacADNski: I can see what you mean.

A pleasing image Mary. There will be stirrings under those furrows after the rain
Mary MacADNski: Yes, the farmer would be smiling.
Nice drop of rain to get the spuds started
Mary MacADNski: Perfect, eh. Perfection is rain every three or four days - over night

a fine geometry of furrows -and the big cloud above them reminds me of a painting by Magritte.
Mary MacADNski: I like the cloud in the composition. The image shown before ignored the cloud.
Looking good for the potatoes after the watering Mary. Nice POV
Mary MacADNski: We would have a happy farmer looking out at this.

The farmer has done a great job with this field. Nice image
Mary MacADNski: I think he would be pleased.
It's a great shot with a very good composition Mary.
Mary MacADNski: If it were still in my files, I would have straightened it.
So glad you took it out of your unassigned bin and posted it for us, Mary. This, so far, is my favourite image of the series.
Mary MacADNski: Had it been still in my files I would have straightened it. That is probably why I rejected it in the first place.

I have enjoyed them all, Mary, but this one most of all!
Mary MacADNski: I like that rain after not getting any last summer.
Looks pretty fertile!
Mary MacADNski: Great for potatoes. No rocks to speak of.
Heavy duty corduroy fabric ... very nice
Mary MacADNski: I always think of corduroy fabric - every planting season.
Pristine clarity Mary farmer!
Mary MacADNski: I wish I was a farmer. When I raised ducks, if I sold eggs I would have been classified one; but not their meat. - some archaic rule.
This is superb Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Pssst. It is not straight. I figured out why it was in the unassigned bin. It is probably fixed in my files.
