Inky at Rest

"In ancient times the tail of a live black cat,

stroked across the eye, was said to cure a sty.

The tail of a cat of any other colour was useful

in the treatment of epilepsy."

I've shown pictures of Inky before.  Here she is having some quiet time.

Linky to Inky

I just noticed that the same chair is in both photographs

Amazing how many things are attributed to cats, yet so few,if any to dogs...smile
Mary MacADNski: Dogs are great but not as amazing somehow, not as interesting, but great all the same. I miss mine terribly.

You sure are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cool information about cats Mary. Inky sure has the right idea!! She looks so fluffy in the sunshine. smile
Mary MacADNski: I use an old page a day calendar for the quotes. Inky is wonderful.

Happy Caturday Mary! I have two black cats both females 15 and 16 years old each and still going strong. I like this relaxed shot of Inky smile
Mary MacADNski: Wonderful! Some cats do have long lives I had a 23 year old cat but none tat long since. Bella's litter mate, Kenz died February last year at 14. Bella seems to be getting frail. These were strays found in a boat. I'm surprised that they are not aging well as they are well fed, veterinarian-cared for, and loved - the good life.
So sweet, Mary! I love the low angle and the sun shining through her fur!
Mary MacADNski: I loved this shot myself. It's not exciting but memorable for me.

It's lovely how the light catches her fur
It's good not worrying about epilepsy, then... a nice perspective

Inky looks very laid back and relaxed Mary. I envy cats ability to be so flexible and relaxed.
Ah, thereby hangs a tale.

Love it... simple but very effective. She obviously enjoys that chair.
