Golden Patches

Rather than do this over again, I'll just say that this is one of those photos for which I should have unticked the sharpening box.

Wonderful landscape Mary! It appears that the foliage is beginning to turn? It is just starting down here in Massachusetts.
Mary MacADNski: Leaves are not turning yet. I think you might seeing red apples.
I don't see that the sharpening tool effected this. It's a lovely view!
Mary MacADNski: It just doesn't work on some shots. I like it on otherws.

Leaving the box permanently unticked is an option that works for me, Mary.

Nevertheless, I love the apple fringe.
Mary MacADNski: Perhaps I should try not using it.

Looks fine to me, Mary
Mary MacADNski: I see something strange and jerky or something. I can't explain it but some shots suffer from it when the sharpening effect is on.

I love these golden patches and the harvested cornfields all over the countryside!
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Philine. This crop was oats. Corn is harvested very late in the season here.

Things look pretty much like that here Mary
Mary MacADNski: Yes, golden and ready for the harvest.

I never bother with technicalities like box sharpeners Mary, is it any good?
Mary MacADNski: It is a box that can be ticked when you are uploading your photograph., I'm not sure how it would work for you on weekends though.
Wonderful with these colours layers Mary!
Mary MacADNski: The ripe grains add that special look.
LOL at Chad. I think it looks just fine Mary
Mary MacADNski: I usually reupload when I forget.
Lovely area of countryside. Like Ray I leave the sharpening box permanently unticked, any sharpening I do whilst processing the image.
Mary MacADNski: I never add any sharpening before uploading so had left it on.
I never tick it. This looks OK to me Mary
Mary MacADNski: I may turn mine off.
Untickked or not Mary... it's still a beautiful image....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, pierre.
