I'm sure I can remember my younger brother (12 years my junior) being given rosehip syrup as a child. That probably explains why he's like he is smile The plant has done its job for the season.
Mary MacADNski: That must be an English product as I have heard of it before from your countrymen

A day later have a look at the comments from you beginning the conversation.

Oh, rose hips /Hagebutten are very healthy as syrup, jam - I like them and I like your photo with the spiderwebs , ripened in the sun for some month ...
Mary MacADNski: I have always known of it in folk medicine but have not ingested it myself.
Roes hip syrup, now that's a product I haven't seen in a long time
Mary MacADNski: I've never seen it. It seems to be an English product.

They look as if they are in a basket Mary.
Mary MacADNski: True to life, not manicured in any way.
A fabulous shot of a very useful & beneficial fruit, Mary. At first glance I thought I was looking at a cluster of cherry tomatoes.
Mary MacADNski: These are from a way to the beach. Shining beautifully.
beautiful close up
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Rani, just pure nature.
A basket full of good things... superb close-up Mary....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: Real simple stuff, eh.
Looking glorious in the sun
Mary MacADNski: Simple countryside fare, available anywhere.
This really does make for a very good natural history image Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Warts and all. I like the real thing, not only the beautiful. Good for identification.
So beautifully autumnal, Mary. The spiders cobweb looks so delicate.
Mary MacADNski: I love the daily changes.
It has been a good year for the hedgerows this year, plenty of blackberries, sloes and rose hips. Nice capture
Mary MacADNski: We have your rowen, our mountain ash which has done well, maple, apple which always do well, highbush cranberry, similar to your http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viburnum_opulus and other small bushes and trees. Quite different really.
Aren't they looking glorious Mary?
Mary MacADNski: Wild, on the way to the beach.
Big juicy ones!
Mary MacADNski: Wild as can be.
Finely detailed, Mary. I particularly like the grape picture.
Mary MacADNski: It's been a whirlwind. Seems so long ago, I've beeen so busy.

Really like this.
Mary MacADNski: I had to wait. My friend forgot her glasses on a rock at the beach. I got a few shots as I loved the wildness.
