Pets on Parade

Another from last year, 20 March. Still hard to believe we had all that snow so late in the year.

Below is a photo shown to advertise walking your dog in one of our city parks.

A fine, Spring shot, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Looks pretty wintery out there but the sun felt springlike.

Nice backlit cat picture - poor dog!
Mary MacADNski: I wondered if the dog was happy about this or not. Baxter, my daughter's Boston Terror would love it!
Wonderful backlight capture Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. I took some fresh cat shots this week.
Nice cat pic. No snow here unless you live in the north or Scotland.
Mary MacADNski: We had a couple more inches last night. I may go out shortly. I think it will be gorgeous out there in early light.
I love that blue shadow...
Mary MacADNski: I do too. The purple however, is not a desired colour or quality.
Puss seems to be going cautiously smile What a way to treat a dog!
Mary MacADNski: A cat is always careful. I thought if it were like my daughter's dog, it would enjoy it. Baxter hates the cold or being outside at all in winter.

Puss seems to be ell at home in the snow and the raised paw gives the impression that she is getting ready t strike at something. The dog does not look too impressed with its get-up.
Mary MacADNski: She is just being a careful walker is soft snow.It was under the sun of late March I believe. I think the dog looks used to this.
I just LOVE that photo! You captured her just right!
Mary MacADNski: We were longing for spring so badly that day. A warm sunny day and that much snow yet.
