A pristine sight
Mary MacADNski: It was. My tire tracks were the first thing in the park to break the pristine snowfall.
What a wonderful perspective through the trees Mary!
Mary MacADNski: I got plenty of fence shots.
It has such a softening effect Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It was very strange. Looked the usual soft, fluffy snow but was like the hard icing on a gingerbread house - all cemented in place.
i love the smooth, soft snow complementing the rough textures on the trees, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, some rough, some smooth. I have a couple of favorite photos ever of different snow textures in the photos.
Nature really done herself proud with that snowstorm, I like how you've managed to get another shot without anybodies footprints at all.
Mary MacADNski: I was the first one on the road as it is a park and golf course and closed for the season.

Oh wonderful! I especially like the fence going left and rigt through the trees. So many other shots in this, too, I should think.
Mary MacADNski: Abso;utely ther were lots of shots but my battery pack gave out. It was planned though.
The right half of this is a cracker Mary
Mary MacADNski: I took quite a few, till my battery pack ran out.

I really like the angle of the shot, we have no concept of snow like this here in England smile
Mary MacADNski: This looks typical but is not. The amount certainly is.
That has stuck well it must be very cold, l like the zig zag fence
Mary MacADNski: It had been raining so above zero then the temp lowered and changed the precip. to freezing rain, then snow.

The muted brown bark shows up so well against the pure-white snow, Mary
Mary MacADNski: I had very few shots with any colour at all. This was one and there were two more.
Lovely shot, Mary, I do like that style of fencing.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, A large area can be done very cheaply like this.
So far we've seen nothing like this - about half an inch of snow in December!
Mary MacADNski: Well it is a lovely winter I think with no arctic air settling in.
Beautiful fresh snow photo! I love when the snow sticks to one side of the trees!!! You know the wind was a'blowin'! smile
Mary MacADNski: It really was a normal storm but the ice became glue which was unusual.
