Found a photo folder I had forgotten about.  Had a few of the visiting cruise ships in it.

Golly! She's a whopper!
Mary MacADNski: Some that come here are huge like this one but some are small too.

You have nearly got her on the rocks, Mary...careful, as we don't need another Concordia incident!

I have never set foot on one of these vessels...saving my cash for a Mars shot!
Mary MacADNski: I think they would be piloted in by someone who knows the harbour. I have never been on one either.
Now you're set up for several weeks to come, Mary, right? smile When you think about it, it's hard to believe those things can actually float!
Mary MacADNski: I put one more up for two weeks from now. I am more amazed that airplanes can fly.

Wow - bigger than Alan's ferry!
Mary MacADNski: Alan,a ferry is similar to ones who sailed between New Brunswick and PEI before the bridge.

An enormous thing full (hopefully) of money
Mary MacADNski: tHey usually run most of the year, just following summer. Around the globe, Excuse my typing on iPad.
She is huge and impressive Mary!
Mary MacADNski: sHe is one of thebig ones. There is also one of the Holland America ships that comes here that is huge.

It's a huge ship! My elder brother and his wife love cruising but it's not for me.
Mary MacADNski: It is not for me either but they bring lots of tourists here.

Those lifeboats must hold a few people, Mary
Mary MacADNski: Let,s hope they never have to use them.
It looks an ugly beast from this perspective Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It has a lot of Windows. pErhaps that is why.

It looks vast, I wonder where it goes on its travels
Mary MacADNski: you can actually look them up. I saw something on where the regular ones who visit here were off to for the winter a couple of years ago.

This one is doing a great job of dwarfing the houses in the background.
Mary MacADNski: this thing would dwarf anything. It is humongous.
wow, this is something, Mary. the whiteness of this cruise ship goes nicely with the blue skies and wispy clouds.
Mary MacADNski: The Hollans American ship that comes in the summer is very white and more attractive.

Can you imagine having a vacation with that 'factory'.... too many people for my liking...
Great shot of the boat though, very impressive these things can float......
Mary MacADNski: I have never been on one but I would not refuse a ticket.
I have an older brother who likes cruising too. It is my idea of hell
Mary MacADNski: Lots of people love it. Some people even live aboard them year round.
I really can't imagine take a cruise on something that size!
Mary MacADNski: There are plenty of medium sized ones and even small ones. I think the size of this would put me off a bit too.
I am thinking of the Poseidon Adventure... not a good association, I admit...
Mary MacADNski: Oh dear. Get that thought away. Here it is in a pleasant land.
They are so massive aren't they.
Mary MacADNski: Can you imagine being on one? Not me - too big.
