Phillipa the Fisher

A friend who was allergic to cats had this ceramic cookie jar cat for many years. It was a difficult item to take when she moved so I was asked to adopt it advising that it did not eat much.

That's what I need/want... smile
Mary MacADNski: Keep an eye open. I see them once and a while.

You have done well to corral it under the two-lips, Mary...it is unlikely to wander off.
Mary MacADNski: Cats rub their heads on it and I am afraid the top will fall off and break. Just a nudge of the head under the fish and Phillipa flips her head.

Quite mad isn't it
Mary MacADNski: I had a neighbour with a large collection of life size cats of every type. She and two of her children were allergic to cats and really loved them so this was their only way of having cats.
I want the same one Mary!
Mary MacADNski: She had a dog too that she kept her dog's treats in.

I like your corner here, with tulips, chair and cat, Mary
Mary MacADNski: It has flowers plenty of the time but sometimes purses, camera bags or books land there. It used to be the corner for school bags and the chair was missing.
This makes an altogether enjoyable still life shot.
Mary MacADNski: My life feels like a still life quite often too.

Lovely! I would certainly give it a good home and it would see plenty of use; I do like cookies smile I'd have the cookie cat on the seat and the flowers underneath it.
Mary MacADNski: LOL I have other cookie jars so never have to worry.
It looks quite satisfied with the fish, Mary smile
Mary MacADNski: She's a happy camper her with the other gals.
How sweet! Cheaper to keep, too! smile
