I really, really can't get over the size of these things!
Mary MacADNski: I know. When two or three of them are in town it is unreal with the amount of people around the small city of Charlottetown.

This is a great crop and I agree with Elizabeth, it always blows me away that 'this' floats....
LOVE the people to give it scale.
Mary MacADNski: The people are the best thing here.

They certainly look in a hurry, Mary
Mary MacADNski: Each person has signed up for something. Busses are waiting.
This ship is huge Mary!
Mary MacADNski: They are amazing to see really, especially if there are more than one in the harbour.

They are coming to SPEND MONEY in your shops
Mary MacADNski: You got it!
I don't blame them one bit, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Depending on the day or the activity, it could be swell.

Wow, that's a cruise Ship, a little town! What a fine name!
Mary MacADNski: The name looks Greek.
It's a wall of ship Mary.
Mary MacADNski: That is a fine description, Chad.
Like ants leaving the nest. not my 'cup of tea' I must add.
Mary MacADNski: Good for us to photograph though. Good for businesses all over the island. They buy my stuff.
Having never seen one of these for real this really does show just how big these ships are.
Mary MacADNski: There was another large one two weeks ago.

Goodness, that is HUGE, I hope there are enough coffee shops for all those passengers smile
Mary MacADNski: Charlottetown is a small city and I must tell you it is hard to find a table in a restaurant on a weekday when the cruise ships are in. Sometimes there are tow of these monstrosities. We can handle two huge ones and often have other small ones at the same time as well.

That ship is really huge. Those life oats can pass for family yachts.
Mary MacADNski: The life boats are certainly big and the most important thing we see here.
Oh, my heavens! I could not imagine being on a boat like that!
Mary MacADNski: I have never but have seen plenty of them.

I know from my brother's experience that the shore excursions can be very expensive. The people really show just how huge the ship is.
Mary MacADNski: I found another shot of this ship yesterday and will add it to the queue. It is from a different time. They come scheduled through a whole season, some once a week!

Is the boat bigger than the town it is visiting, Mary?
Mary MacADNski: The traffic at lunchtime in the downtown area makes it seem like it. I rarely come to town in summer.
