Alma's Story

It is five years ago that my son acquired Alma. She was the 'child' of a couple who broke up.  Both were moving home to their parents and could not bring the cat.  My son was in the process of buying a house and having it professionally renovated.  He took Alma and then asked if she could come here while it was all sorted out. She lived here for five months.

You can see from the bottom shot that not all of her adult teeth were in. The day she came to me she was taken from her litter of kittens, who were also being distributed that day.  As you can see, Alma was a very young mother. I had a condition of her being spayed and innoculated to come here but of course I took her myself.

I'm sure you have given her a wonderful life too
Mary MacADNski: She certainly is loving this winter.
She has been lucky to find such a welcoming family Mary!
Mary MacADNski: My son loved Alma since her beginning since he hung out at this young couple's house when she was born.

Aaaaahhh... that;s sad to hear how not only did she have to "move house" herself but also lose her own family. She's thrived, though, and I can imagine great fun to be around. My Sue was not much moe than a kitten herself when she became a mum. I took her in and her little boy Sooty.
Mary MacADNski: She feels really at home here since this was her first home after the kittens. It is always good to hear a cat story here.
A cat of character!
Mary MacADNski: She certainly is and she has been a very good guest.
Alma has been well cared-for...
Mary MacADNski: She has had changes this year with the loss of Mr. Pickles, the rabbit, Minnie the part Irish Wolfhound, and my son's ex girlfriend. She has had a fabulous winter vacation is how I look at it.

She is a lovely cat!
Mary MacADNski: She is. I just let her out with the other two.
