Bailey

The 2011 Poker Run was unusual in that the boat captain, his wife and I were the only three people on board the boat.  All the 'kids' were off somewhere as the weather was not forecast to be great. Some friends tied up to us, the weather was fine and warm but not sunny and we had a great day. This is the dog my friends had at the time but he was hit by a car shortly after that and never went sailing again.

The kids are whimps, Mary...there is no ice floating in the water...

Sad about the mutt story.
Mary MacADNski: No ice at all, end of July and lots of people swimming.

That is a sad story of the dog. The 'kids' don't know what they missed, if the weather is not good, maybe the company is and you can have lots of fun.!!!
Mary MacADNski: Everyone decided they had something more important. We had lots of fun.
What a pity Mary! He seemed enjoying being aboard.
Mary MacADNski: He did like boating. Their current dog is hugely tall so would be a monster up there.
A sad story, indeed, Mary, about the dog...and maybe even sadder yet about the kids who didn't like the weather. As they say in Norway, "there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!
Mary MacADNski: Kids can always find something else to do. It was lovely day. I am so happy finding this folder.

Oh, poor dog, he is a beautiful dog and I enjoy the view on the harbour with him.
Mary MacADNski: He was a great boat dog.

Mary MacADNski: I did not think about how sad it would be. Sorry - and on Good Friday - Yikes!

Poor old fellow - he loved life by the look of it
Mary MacADNski: He was very comfortable on the boat. Baxter was not really. He has been on two or three times and does not like it. He is difficult to find a sitter for.
What a sad story about this lovely dog.

Poor Bailey.

Looks like the kids missed out on a good day.
Mary MacADNski: They did miss out. Lots of people were in the water. It was overcast but still warm. Bailey was a very good boat dog.
Poor fellow - looks as though he had his sea legs!
Mary MacADNski: He was a boat dog during fishing season.
Poor doggie...
