Last Sunday, the 10th of April Islanders woke to scenes like mine.  These spring snowfalls are refered to as nature's fertilizer. They are completely gone in a day or two.

I am back in the present 2016 for a couple of days, then returning to the 2011 folder.

Lovely soft blanket... We had a snow like that last Sunday. The rain cleared most of it in 2 days.
Mary MacADNski: Same here but we had only one rain but warm temps for two days.

Here I am baking at 0830 with the temperature already close to 38degC!
Mary MacADNski: It was not at all cold by our standards so I think you would enjoy this refreshing day.

C'est un magnifique paysage de neige.
Mary MacADNski: Il était magnifique la façon dont ces chutes de neige tardives sont souvent.

This is very nice to look at in the sunshine of a spring day
Mary MacADNski: It was a gorgeous day. The day was perfect for snowmen but I had put my back out earlier that week.
A beautiful and peaceful sight Mary!
Mary MacADNski: It was tranquille.

Oh, I love this image - I once experienced spring snowfalls at Easter.
Mary MacADNski: We are quite apt to have snow at Easter, especially if it is in March.
It looks beautiful Mary, over here the country would almost come to standstill with a modest fall like this in April!
Mary MacADNski: That is a shame, Alan. Cdns know how to do this quite well but resent it.
I don't think I could take Canada's climate!
Mary MacADNski: The west coast has a climate more similar to your own.

Looks lovely. It must be good to know that it will be gone quickly, though.
Mary MacADNski: Two days, that's all. Spring has sprung but we are having unusually cold weather at the present.
this is so beautiful Mary... a bit of unexpected snow light up your day....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: It was gorgeous as these late spring snows usually are. For a few hours they cover the yuck of early spring.
This is beautiful, Mary! I love these snow scenes!
Mary MacADNski: They are so beautiful at this time of year as they cover a lot of ugly ground.
