It is a very powerful image, Mary. Sad
Mary MacADNski: Thanks for that, Elizabeth. I don't often change anything but the black and white button but this one changed so much with the boost of contrast.

Hou, cette maison est fatiguée...
Mary MacADNski: Très fatigué, Martine. Si vous regardez en arrière, surtout à mes anciennes archives, je en vedette de nombreux bâtiments "fatigué".

Contrast upping is a very technical term, Mary...but, you seemed to have worked out how to do it.
Mary MacADNski: I have a button that says contrast low, med and high. I just chose the high. It was not a long drawn out thought process or learning curve.

Lol at Martine, yes I think somebody is very tired here..... I always feel sorry for such a sight... Once it was a happy house and I assume happy people loving in it...
Mary MacADNski: Yes, I suppose so. They remain at properties for years.
You did well to highlight the sadness here Mary!
Mary MacADNski: That was not deliberate at all.

It has quite an impact like this, Mary
Mary MacADNski: Exactly my thought. I do not vignette but the contrast almost provided that feel.
A fine b&w picture Mary. This house doesn't look all that old, I wonder what happened
Mary MacADNski: That is a style of bungalow that began in the fifties and so it could be 65 or so years old. It must have been made poorly to collapse.

That upping the contrast works for me. Excellent result.
Mary MacADNski: I liked the drama it cre8ed and the look of vignetting though I did not add it.
i like the starkness of the whites, Mary. it makes the walls look almost pure and spotless.
Mary MacADNski: It is stark though the exposure is fine. I like it too.

Works well, mary. So sad tp the see the property like, though.
Mary MacADNski: I hate that they are sometimes an eyesore. Sometimes they are not.

ooo this definitely needs a bit of TLC Mary
Mary MacADNski: It needs demolition I would think.
Poor thing...
Mary MacADNski: A bad roof left in the rain too long.
It's sad seeing houses like this, there must have been times when it was full of joy, and laughter and sadness, of that it could talk.
Mary MacADNski: I'm sure you are right.
It almost looks as if the house is being washed away by a torrent of water Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I had to look back to try to understand that. I will again later.
