Been carrying a too-heavy load...
Mary MacADNski: Looks like a poorly constructed or unrepaired roof left too long.
Did something from the space hit this house Mary?
Mary MacADNski: The space of time perhaps?

En couleurs, on voit encore mieux les détails.
Mary MacADNski: C'est sûrement vrai. Le coup de pouce de contraste dans le noir et blanc enlevé détail.
Certainly a softer image Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Much softer and less dramatic.

Needs TLC
Mary MacADNski: Or a match.
So much better in b&w
Mary MacADNski: It was. The contrast boost really changed it.

How sad to see this collapsing house -what did happen to this building? I agree with Chad!
Mary MacADNski: I don't know this building, just stopped when passing by.
I prefer this version, Mary...This doesn't look like a natural event....
Mary MacADNski: I have no idea the truth but it looks like a poorly constructed or unrepaired roof left to seep too long. It is not something you often see in a building this age.

Oh I like this - looks like time and nature are winning this particular battle.
Mary MacADNski: Yesterday, I showed a black and white with a boost in contrast. It is certainly different.

The colour version works better for me; there is more texture and depth to the image.
Mary MacADNski: Absolutely, and you may have liked the straight conversion without the boost in contrast.
I find this very sad.
Mary MacADNski: Imagine an exciting story like the people who lived there won the lottery and left the old house to wonderful woodland creatures.

I think yesterday's has more of a feeling of dereliction.
Mary MacADNski: It made more of a statement surely.

Looks good, too
Mary MacADNski: Not as morally collapsed as yesterday's.
More nails or better concrete footings next time round.
Mary MacADNski: A stronger something or a timely repair. It looks too late now.
