Going Grey

Jack became a father this winter with his girlfriend having thirteen puppies, ten of which survived.  The mother is brown with black and white patches.  She has five black puppies, four brown puppies, one of them being a brindle brown and only one that looks like a golden retriever. Very odd as Jack is a pure bred dog with a standard flaw so not registered. His flaw is his size and head size.  He is big.

Yesterday, Jack had a first arranged date with a new girlfriend. They got to know each other and will meet again on Saturday.

Sounds like Jack's girlfriend might have had some other boyfriends too, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It does seem that way though she had almost moved in with Jack, staying overnight several times.
Reminds me of my "Ulla" in the early senties Mary!
Mary MacADNski: This fellow is beginning to go grey.
He's certainly beautiful, isn't he! I imagine his puppies are, as well - 13 is a very large litter!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, these were her first litter too.

Jack is having a good life, Mary
Mary MacADNski: He seems very pleased with himself. The drooling is driving his owner crazy though. LOL

Lucky Jack!
Mary MacADNski: He is very pleased with himself. You would not believe the drool a fellow can produce when a gal is around. Normally he does not drool but his mouth gushes in the presence of ladies.
It's definitely not right on the first date Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I congratulated him for his restraint as we don't want him to sully his reputation with an aggressive move.

Oh, he is a fruitful father and he can enjoy his life. Let's hope he will be successful on next Saturday.
Mary MacADNski: I prefer to find out by telephone call.
sorry to hear about the three losses, Mary. Jack has a wise look about him.
Mary MacADNski: I think 13 would have been too much for this first time mother. She has enough to feed with 10.

Will you keep one of each colour???
Mary MacADNski: I don't know the neighbours with the female, just Jack. I collect cats anyway. My dog days are over.
He is a grand dog, Mary, a tough life he's leading...smile
Mary MacADNski: He is having a great time these days and going grey. A lesson to us all, eh.

Some dog's life for Jack smile
Mary MacADNski: He is enjoying it. He's still wanting to go for a swim or a roll in the mud though.

OOoereer... sounds like more puppy making could happen soon then. Lucky Jack!
Mary MacADNski: Saturday if all goes right . I prefer to find the results by phone call.
We have the derogatory saying 'it's a dogs life' but by all accounts it sounds pretty darned good for this chap.
Mary MacADNski: It couldn't be better for Jack these days.
No wonder the poor devil is going grey
Mary MacADNski: I know! I used to blame motherhood but now I am wondering now again at your suggestion here.
