photoblog image Cat Play

Cat Play

I don't know if I mentioned that Alma likes to play Ambush all day long, indoors or out. In this obviously poor photo I have managed to catch Ruby with all four feet off the ground as Alma jumped out from the shadow afforded her by the garden wall.

Hou, ils ne font pas semblant...
Mary MacADNski: No, this is pure glee from one cat, pure fear from the other.

This is just so AMUSING!
Mary MacADNski: Alma does this all day long and she knows what a scaredy cat Ruby is. The other day when She did it, Ruby jumped so high, she landed on my reading glasses and popped both lenses.
Excellent timing indeed Mary! I love it.
Mary MacADNski: I was taking shots of Alma and hadn't seen Ruby nearing. This was totally unplanned and a fluke.

Oh...wonderful!

Not a poor image at all, Mary!

This made me laugh so much, Mary - it is such typical cat stuff

Hahaha wonderful. The blur actually makes this
Mary MacADNski: The blur may be caused because I had two feet off the ground from the surprise here.

Love the action in this. Poor Ruby may have been caught unawares but already she has her claws out ready to rip the attacker to shreds.
Mary MacADNski: She never sticks around to fight like Purrl does. Those claws, once they hit the ground will aid to impell her to a hundred mph sprint.
I think it's really fantastic! Love the action!!
Mary MacADNski: Ha ha. It scared me too.
