Watery Wavelets

You can see bits of beaver bites here. I can not believe how this very familiar place is so different with all the trees under water. It seems alien.

If interested here is an Edith Piaf cover from the French chanteuse I featured last week.  I love this trio!

Love this pic, Mary...and, am beginning to warm to your claim that there be beavers...

smile
Mary MacADNski: I may extend the series because there are other shots other than the refections I am showing this week.

Yes...fine musicians...
Mary MacADNski: Well in sync.
There are definitely beavers in the area Mary! Lovely composition.
Mary MacADNski: I have some shots where they were very busy. Maybe later.
Joli, on dirait que les arbres sont tombés dans l'eau.
Mary MacADNski: I think the whole series portrays that exactly. I have memories as a child regarding reflections of the sky and trees falling into the water.
Did someone say Edith Piaf?! OMG. What a voice. Oh, and the trees are splendid, in and out of the water.
Mary MacADNski: I hope you liked the band and the Edith song.

Ahh - Beaver bites..
Mary MacADNski: I have some of great gnawing too.
Beautiful image, Mary - those reflections - still, and wavy - are wonderful!
Love her voice!
Mary MacADNski: I was quite taken by the reflections that night. I am not usually up that late but had gone to feed Jack.

a fascinating photograph!
Mary MacADNski: Itis reflections of beaverland all week.
I just read about a devastating fire in Canada, quite a contrast to this calm picture Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I was mesmerized by the story from my 5am. Every person in Canada knows someone in Fort McMurray. It is the very center of a huge oil industry project in the west where people from the east coast went out in droves. It was devastating for a fire to sweep through a major center like this.

These waterside pictures are special. So is ZAZ. I believe the French language is the only language that goes with this style of chanson.
Mary MacADNski: I think you might find Spanish ballads quite pleasing as well.
I can't take my eyes off that wonderful reflection Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I was so taken with these shots and the experience of being there.
the reflection theme is strong. I like it!!!
Mary MacADNski: All week long, Rob.
beaver bites... yum! smile
Mary MacADNski: Juicier in spring of course.

This is a fabulous shot.. very fascinating and I wonder if they come back to get the 'wood'...
Great reflections.
Mary MacADNski: They have taken a lot of small wood to use in making the base that they have. They have cut many big trees and will continue. They eat them and build with them both.

It just shows the power of these creatures. I like the reflections very much.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Alan. Info tomorrow.
This is a fine composition Mary
Mary MacADNski: Much obliged Bill. Some info tomorrow.
this is a magnificent picture of the reflection of the trees in the water Mary... if the beaver keep it up they will be under the water soon...

i loved the video of Edith Piaf and her musicians...
she has such a beautiful voice and her dance compliments her song....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: This beaver has been here since autumn. I love this trio. Thanks.
