This week I am showing the sky from a wonderful evening walk on the beach with a friend on Mother's Day, last Sunday.  We went to Point Prim and here is the first shot taken, of the lighthouse, so you can see where we were in daylight.  This shot was taken at 6:57.

Someone didn't pay the power bill!
Mary MacADNski: I got several shots of the beam. It comes on automatically.
A nice start for your walk - and once it gets dark, you can find your way home!
Mary MacADNski: Ha ha. That's true. There was only a sliver of a moon that night too.

a beautiful composition! I love lighthouses wherever I am.
Mary MacADNski: You would love PEI then.
The day is getting ready to settle into night
Mary MacADNski: Yes, after a gorgeous day too.
cool shot. I might have been tempted to clone out those power lines (super easy to do)
Mary MacADNski: I would edit this if it were to be shown elsewhere than the daily blog.
Lovely shot with these silhouettes!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. I shot a whole lot of interesting silhouettes of some roots sticking out of the cliffs but this series will be based on the sunset.
Good looking lighthouse.
Mary MacADNski: I have given links to it in the past. It is quite historic.
A good start!
Mary MacADNski: It was too late to go far but we did not have to, to watch the sunset.
darkness descending...
Mary MacADNski: There were lots of clouds, which you will see.
