Tu as perdu tes chaussures. Je préférais la photos en couleurs.

A fine choice of pic to leach the colour from, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Any of the rock shots turned out well in Black and white.
B&W suits perfectly this beautiful image Mary!
Mary MacADNski: I think it does too. Thank you.
I love the flip flops on the rock!
Mary MacADNski: We finally found the girls.
I love the flip-flops, too, Mary. Perfect to leave them in this lovely B&W image.
Mary MacADNski: This is how we found the girls. We could see the bright pink flip-flops from far away.

The flip flops makes this for me.
Mary MacADNski: In colour they are bright pink and stood out well.
The shoes make it and b&w is the right choice
Mary MacADNski: I agree - twice.
Lovely photo Mary, the flip-flops and the distant figure really make it.
Mary MacADNski: The flip flops helped us find the girls. They arrived 20 min. before we did and we could see the hot pink flip flops from a long ways.

and these are your flip flops? I love the aged-old stones.
Mary MacADNski: They belong to one of the girls up ahead. They helped us locate the girls.

Dramatic. Those slip-ons hints at the possibility that the owner took a long walk into the sea.
Mary MacADNski: They are way up ahead and we saw the shoes so knew they found the beach.
this is a great shot from this angle, Mary. i assume this pair belongs to the person up ahead in the distance?
Mary MacADNski: Yes, in the pictures last week, the girl in red owned the flipflops.

I love those flip-flops.... they give scale to this picture. LOVE the monotone picture. what a great 'beach' and a great picture.
Mary MacADNski: Black and white was perfect with the sun laden rocks. In colour the flip flops were bright pink.
Apart from the humour of the sandals this looks really good in monochrome.
Mary MacADNski: I agree. The sun and shade made a good contrast in B/W.
Plenty of scope for rock hopping
Mary MacADNski: As shown last week (where this was supposed to be) there was lots of sand too. The tide was going out when we arrived.
the flip flops steal a bit of the scene Mary but what a magnificent b&w with the reflected light on the flat stones along the shore....petersmile
