Water View

My good friend and her husband have recently retired and built a new cottage. This is the view from their deck. They are atop a 90 foot cliff and get incredible sunsets.

That tall timber is going to have to go, Mary, or they will be saying "We get incredible sunsets, which you could see if that bloddy tree wasn't in the way!"
Mary MacADNski: Are you kidding?

What a place to live after retirement... I hope the tree will be there a long time, it adds to the picture and view....
Wonderful picture.
Mary MacADNski: It is wonderful to see an old tree. The coastline is eroding so quickly.
A wonderful place for their retirement Mary!
Mary MacADNski: It is wonderful, their home for the summer.

What a place to retire to, Mary
Mary MacADNski: Just for the summers for now.
A wonderful choice Mary. I hope they have a long and happy retirement
Mary MacADNski: Long hard work pays off.
I wonder if they fancy that tree coming down Mary. What a view they have!
Mary MacADNski: No, the tree is a wonderful focal point. It's structure is important along an eroding coast.
I can just imagine, Mary. Did they happen to build a mother-in-law suite for you for when you retire?
Mary MacADNski: Ha ha, no. I don't fit the description at all. We once shared a mother in law.

Very nice too, a fine vista
Mary MacADNski: It is wonderful! I watched it's progress through the winter.
And they also have an incredible view every time they go out in their garden Mary.
Mary MacADNski: No garden or landscaping yet but they have that at their real home not far away.

On PEI, I guess. What a view.
Mary MacADNski: About 15 km. away from their residence, it is a summer cottage.

Oooorrr... now that sounds my sort of place! hope you get a chance to show us some of the sunsets. I've got just 9 more get ups until I retire but I don't have such grand plans unfortunately.
Mary MacADNski: If you plan to travel still, you won't want the responsibility of taking care of property. Nine more work days...Wow.

That's gorgeous, Mary.

I'm envious!
Mary MacADNski: Lots of hard work paid off. A summer cottage is wonderful.
It looks like Peter has some competition...smile
