photoblog image Alma Under the Apple Tree

Alma Under the Apple Tree

This tree that is framing Alma is the same one as below.  It has been hollow from the middle to the bottom the over thirty years I have been here.  This year the spongy bottom inner layer came out of the hard, living shell. That comma sure was important.  It is amazing to me that this tree continues to fill with blossoms every year, my best bloomer.

Alma est très belle, elle a trouvé une belle cachette. L'arbre en fleurs est magnifique.

Wonderful tree...may it live another 100 years!

It is a lovely thing, so is Alma
Trees are wonderful survivors - I came across olive trees in Portugal that had been planted by the Romans 2,400 years ago! They had been under threat from development and had been moved to a nearby vineyard - and they'd survived the move and still flourished. Amazing!
Alma is a beauty... fits right in that tree...

Looks to be a wonderful for Alma to hide in and watch the world go by. It must be very pleasing to see it bloom every year.
The image of Alma, and of that gorgeous tree are both just wonderful!
