Summer Sky

Please excuse this dotty, dirty, unedited sky.  This is a photo from a beach day last summer and is stored on my laptop. It is from the same day as yesterday's shot featuring Jack.

I will excuse and exculpate the dirty sky... smile
Mary MacADNski: Perhaps you could clean it while you are up there.

The fragility of your cliffs is quite evident in this fine shot, Mary. The big, fluffy clouds are gorgeous!
Mary MacADNski: I did a series on this day where these beautiful clouds formed a big mushroom cloud. It was one of my favorite days on the beach last year.
J'aime beaucoup ce ciel. Joli paysage de mer.
Mary MacADNski: Some days the sky is the star in any photograph.
Love those clouds!!
Mary MacADNski: These are from an August day that the clouds formed a mushroom cloud. I did a series on this day.

That is a very crumbly cliff
Mary MacADNski: Very. Some areas like this are going fast. Help! We are shrinking.

Fascinating clouds! I love the sky!
Mary MacADNski: The best subject in nature in ways. Clouds bring rain.

The fragility of the cliff is very evident. Judging by the colour of the water, had there been a recent storm?
Mary MacADNski: A storm was brewing up. I did a series about this day where the clouds formed a mushroom cloud and we could see the storm brewing.
You can really see the erosion
Mary MacADNski: We are shrinking fast.
Jack is having a fun time, for sure. I wonder if something can be done to arrest further erosion
Mary MacADNski: Private landowners put breakwaters up but the govt would do only what is urgently needed
It shows how fast the erosion is going Mary!
Mary MacADNski: It is severe in certain areas.
Like our North Norfolk coast which has severe erosion in places I fear for any properties near the edge, which they probably weren't when they were built!
Mary MacADNski: I bought land on the other side of the island in 1974, before I moved here permanently and chose the lots furthest from the shore. Sure glad I did.
It's quite a lovely shot, in spite of the sensor dirt smile
Mary MacADNski: I am on the laptop with access only to photos stored here because one SD card I have will not work on my other computer.
