Developing Pine Cones

I had a new monitor long enough to remove photos from a full card and upload a few to SC.  They are all unedited, grabbed in a moment.  I had company all week. That is often the case in the summertime when you live in PEI. I had a great time but had many late nights and every waking moment was filled. I got to SC in the mornings before work to see your photos but had no time to respond to comments. Please again this week, ignore the sensor dirt and crooked horizons of these shots. Soon, soon, the new computer will be set up.

Do not fret, Mary - your images are always lovely and intriguing - and it's good for us to see some SOOC shots every now and then!
Mary MacADNski: My shots are only edited to remove the sensor dirt and straightening but this next week has none of it done. The screwy monitor would not let me see the proper shots.

C'est très beau, belle composition !
This is a great image to go with the phrase "Don't get your panties in a wad," Mary. HA! Not that you would ever do that, of course. It looks like you're doing a good job of hanging in there!
Mary MacADNski: By the skin of my teeth, dear.

A study in togetherness if ever I saw one..
Mary MacADNski: I was quite taken with it.

I expect some of your summer visitors also turn up in winter and help dig out the snow smile This is a wonderful image; nature certainly provides some wonderful sights.

Don;t worry about us on SC; sometimes there are even more important things to think about.
Mary MacADNski: I bet that won't happen in a mil;lion years.
I do like all the varieties of pines Mary. I forgot to give you your appointment on my blog today. I thought you would make a good deputy Prime Minister.
Mary MacADNski: Too much responsibility there - the hirer, firer. No thank you. Also, I have no aptitude for bullshit so could never be a politician. I am a fan of pines and all conifers, their warmth.

Like an infestation...
Mary MacADNski: It will be come fall.
Fear not this will keep me going Mary
Mary MacADNski: Oh, I hope so as this temporary monitor is not letting me see anything properly. I am a bit frustrated.

These look like caterpillars, Mary
Mary MacADNski: They do, I suppose.

I like this detail very much. Enjoy your days in company!
Mary MacADNski: The company ends the end of September. That is the way this year.
That looks very unusual!
Mary MacADNski: Fascinating but I had only mopments there. I am positive there are better shots.
Very good for a shot straight off the card Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Most of mine are other than straightening horizons and erasing the sensor dirt top left that is always present.

Like a bunch of caterpillars just hatched.

In the mean time, be cool with your guests.
Mary MacADNski: I have a break of guests after tomorrow but must then clean up for the next crew. I am always cool don't you know.

A lovely tangled picture Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I am sure I got better ones. I just grabbed some for a week's shots hoping it will do.
