i love both sides of the Zinnia Mary... almost much as i love the clouds in Joni Mitchel's song...
one of my favorites....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: The zinnia looks very different and it is only a one button, straight conversion.

Where are the bees?
Mary MacADNski: They were in the thousands in a much more interesting to them, part of this huge, gorgeous, friend's garden.
Isn't it amazing how B&W can bring out such detail? Both are just lovely!
You can play that song over and over and over... smile
Mary MacADNski: I try lots of straight conversions but only a few catch my eye. I had two copies of this album forever, one a gift and gave one away. I also have it digitally too of course.

J'aime beaucoup sa couleur jaune, on dirait un soleil.
Mary MacADNski: It certainly is a vibrant colour. I converted pink ones too.
I tend to prefer tne B&W one Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Only certain shots convert well.
It really IS fun to see both versions, Mary, but I can almost never choose one over the other.
Mary MacADNski: I have to remember to move both versions on a stick when I upload.

Lovely flower head in whatever colour, Mary. I can't grow these
Mary MacADNski: They grow very well here and they grow in Thailand too. I have none this year.

Oh, I love zinnias in all colours.
Mary MacADNski: They come in various colours and shapes as well.
Definitely best in b&w on a Mondag Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It converted very well.
I liked her song People's parties.
Mary MacADNski: I have that album,Court and Spark, an old one that I love so much.
Works very well in b&w Mary
Mary MacADNski: I like it a lot.

Joni and her strong and well smoked voice. It is really long since I have last heard her. Excellent detail in that zinnia.
Mary MacADNski: It is never long that I've heard her. She is always on the rotation. I like the zinnia too.
I really like both pictures, please don't ask me to choose between them.
Mary MacADNski: I would never ask such a thing.smile

Now I'm sire you won't be surprised to learn that I prefer the colour version. The nuances in the colour variations are much more evident. I do like that Joni Mitchell number.
Mary MacADNski: Pehaps some detail si lost in the conversion. I would never be a good judge.
especially beautiful in b/w...
Mary MacADNski: I like the black and white too. Only certain shots convert well.
Nicely processed to B&W, Mary
Mary MacADNski: It is purely a one button, straight conversion. Not all shots convert well.
