Special Passengers

When on my way to pick up my grandchildren at the ferry, I was three minutes from the terminal and saw the boat wasn't in yet. I had time to stop for a photo or two. I am happily going to be babysitting them again soon!

Très jolie composition. J'aime les différentes couleurs.
Mary MacADNski: It was a very hot, hazy day.
Such lovely layers, Mary!
Oh that song touches my heart... I am, patiently waiting for my love!
Mary MacADNski: The grandchildren are so excited, as am I. not the same longing, I'm sure but love is love.
Wonderful with these layers Mary!
Mary MacADNski: T'was a hot, hazy day.

That is good stuff, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Hot, hazy and humid.
Nothing like watching their boat come in...kinda like how I am at the airport, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Island life at it's base.

Great for you to see your grandchildren arriving in the distance, Mary
Mary MacADNski: This time I have them on a Saturday while the parents are at a wedding.
My eye is attracted to the line of light across the sky Mary. It looks very subtle and beautiful.
Mary MacADNski: It was hot and humid and the sun had not burned off the haze yet. A bit later, pure blue skies, with a shower in mid afternoon when the kids were in the pool.

So many layers in this picture. I think Bill can't produce a sky like this one.

So you have grandchildren, eh? Can't be 20 years old then. Have to adjust my imagination.
Mary MacADNski: I believe we are the same age, Louis. My oldest will be 30 soon.

That must have bene special moment for you seeing the ferry with on. How do your cats cope with the grandchildren?
Mary MacADNski: The cats get along well with the kids though Ruby hides the first day. Meeting the ferry is a common event for an islander. Lots of people walk on rather than drive.
have a great time with the grans... smile
Mary MacADNski: i am not sure who is most excited, the kids, me, or my daughter who gets a night out with hubby.
No doubt you still beat it to the dock smile
Mary MacADNski: Yup!
Penny and i can find no better pleasure than having the grandchildren sleep over...
we get to see them all this weekend....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: It is a special treat for me and they, at newly four and almost six, are at such a fun age.
We have got our grandchildren for 5 days/4 nights at the moment, they are 14 and 9, it doesn't bear thinking about smile But we love them anyway.
