A lot of raucous, boozy goings on in the distance, Mary...you PEI folks seem to know how to self-entertain...
Mary MacADNski: It doesn't look like that at all to me. I see some swimmers and someone about to launch a canoe.
Ready to go!!
Mary MacADNski: I love that blue canoe about to go.
Jolie composition pour cette photo.
Mary MacADNski: Merci, Martine.
They certainly are enjoying themselves Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Someone is readying to go in a canoe.
And away we go! I'm ready, Mary. smile
Mary MacADNski: I think this would be the right place.

Looks like it's part time over there
Mary MacADNski: Just someone launching a canoe.

Your people seem very gregarious, Mary
Mary MacADNski: It is a once a year party on the water.
It looks as if people are enjoying themselves Mary, you included. Btw, I also bought the Court and Spark album back in the 70s.
Mary MacADNski: Between albums, cd's, cassettes and mp3's I have most of Joni's albums. I replaced my 8 track of Blue that we played over and over in our truck, traveling to our land on PEI on any weekend we could get away.

The bottom dwellers have a breather.

I am listening Harry Chapin at the moment - one of my all time favourites.
Mary MacADNski: I don't understand the comment. What bottom dwellers? Harry Chapin was my former mother-in-law's very favorite.
I really like your composition for these boats Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Thank you, Brian. I like it too. I love the blue canoe ready to be launched.

I am interested in the device ante the bow on the boat; do they have fishing rods or something? Looks like there is some fun going on in the boat in the background.
Mary MacADNski: This is a lifter you are seeing. It helps lift the lobster traps onto the side of the boat. In the background some swimming and and the launching of a canoe.
Handsome vessels!
Mary MacADNski: The typical lobster boats are good looking. Some are wood, some fiberglass but basically the same seaworthy design.

These look like lobster boats. So while people use them for play, the bottom dwellers like the lobsters have a rest from being uprooted.
