photoblog image Watery Wednesday

Watery Wednesday

This was taken a few weeks ago on the commute before the leaves began to change colour.

I point you to a great article and photos of a church made of living trees in New Zealand.  It makes worship seem like a whole new thing.

Love those big hay toys, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Left over straw bales sitting there since September.
Très joli paysage. Belle composition avec la botte de paille.
Mary MacADNski: They were commonplace not so long ago.
Wonderfully captured in a lovely light!
Mary MacADNski: Morning light, one minute from my workplace.
Fabulous, Mary...both the image and the link.
Mary MacADNski: The link is awesone. Thank you about my commute view too.

Very interesting, people have always worshipped nature
Mary MacADNski: I helped in plant a living classroom like this years ago but have not checked back.

Beautiful light in this. Mary. Our trees are just starting to change here now and my heating came on today for the first time for this season.
Mary MacADNski: I got an oil delivery today for the first time. Peak is just now and soon to past but as usual, the weather has been glorious.

I thought the woodland church was wonderful; what a great idea and very well done.
Mary MacADNski: It is quite the place. Worth a visit if in the area of NZ.
A nice late summer scene. The tree church is certainly different and rather splendid
Mary MacADNski: Thanks for both
I admire your confidence that the leaves will change colour Mary. Love the wooden church.
Mary MacADNski: I have been of sound mind and body for over 60 years watching these seasons roll out. With childlike wonder which requires such confidence and that fore-mentioned adult experience, I think I have it covered.

The image gives a lovely feel of autumn.
Mary MacADNski: We are in full autumn bloom now which you will see upcoming.
A fine early autumn scene Mary, and the link is what people at our church would certainly call 'living church'.

Interesting light in your picture - as if it is a little bit under exposed. Great result.

That Woodland Church reminded me of this one http://louis.shutterchance.com/image/2010/07/30/yellowwood-chapel/ I know they are not the same, but I immediately thought of the yellow wood church.
Mary MacADNski: I checked your shot of the woodn church.

Love this composition and complimentary colors. Warm, inviting.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Bonnie.
Very pretty, Mary!
What a remarkable church... thank you for sharing the article!
Mary MacADNski: I love that church.
