A delicate frosting...

Love it, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: It always comes too early.
Elles ont de très jolies couleurs.
Mary MacADNski: They are wonderful late summer flowers.
Such a lovely capture Mary!

Oh, that is beautiful. I do like your choice of focus for this. I'm still waiting for our first frost; October has been very mild so far this year.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Alan. We have extremes in October. Hot days with no clouds that invite frost. It came too early.

Here we go, the start of winter. But these are very attractive
Mary MacADNski: I emptied the last aster pot yesterday and now have only sweet peas blooming. I got one vase of still beautifully blooming pale purple asters.

Oh, a wonderful image!
Mary MacADNski: A little sad for me to see the end of flower season.
Not sugar coated then Mary.
Mary MacADNski: Not at all - the honest, cold truth, as always.
A hint of winter in the air.
Mary MacADNski: A lovely autumn with warm days and cool nights.

We still have sunshine and mild weather for a change so sorry to see you are already getting off to frosty starts to the day.
Mary MacADNski: Oh we do too. The weather is glorious. It just reached the frost point early.
What a lovely picture Mary, I really like Asters, but an early frost isn't a good sign perhaps.
Mary MacADNski: Everyone just covers what is important to them.
Lovely. We haven't had any frost yet although it promises to be quite chilly tonight
Mary MacADNski: We have frost quite often now, not so much then, weeks ago.
you get up much to early in the morning Mary... but this shot makes it worth it...
we've had quite a few morning frosts... November is not that far away....petersmile
Mary MacADNski: This was weeks ago, peter. Frost is commonplace now.
It looks coated in powdered sugar! Lovely, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: That is quite accurate.
Very nice with the frost...
Mary MacADNski: I'm sure you have had it by now; a CDN symbol to me.
Sensitive and sublime...
Mary MacADNski: Sad at the time but asters come back from it and they continued blooming for weeks. They are gone now.

Fabulous. I can practically feel the chill in the air.
Mary MacADNski: Yes, you get frost too. So glad to know you still come by. I drop by for coffee at your house too, smile
