Boats and More Boats

A song from long ago, a 1970 album by Grand Funk Railroad:

I forget all these old bands then when I hear one of those long ago songs, it all comes back.

Jolie série de bateaux.
Mary MacADNski: There are many to see.
i like how you zoomed in with this crop. it is a floating city there, Mary
I like your crop in the top shot, the hilarity in the bottom shot - and that wonderful song!
Mary MacADNski: I had completely forgotten that song. I am enjoying it again.
Ce navire est un géant des mers Peter!
Amitiés. Richard
Mary MacADNski: I am CDN but not peter.

For getting people to shore and for saving their lives too
Mary MacADNski: There were three ships in port that day.

I think I might feel claustrophobic on a ship like that. I certainly qualifies for today!
Mary MacADNski: I have never been on one.
A veritable cornucopia of boats. I will try and catch up with the song later
Mary MacADNski: I hope you do come back for the song as it has delighted me again after 40some years.
The tenders look so small Mary, well I suppose that's because they are compared to the cruise ship.
Mary MacADNski: Three ships were in the harbour that day. This was such a small part to the scene.

Boats in boats...
Mary MacADNski: Three ships graced our small harbour that day.
Very good crop on the top shot Mary. The more I see of these huge ships the less i ever want to travel on one.
Mary MacADNski: I would consider it as everyone I know who has tried it has loved it.

The music of different bands seems to have played an important role in your life. You know lots of songs. What a big cruise ship and so many boats!
Mary MacADNski: I do know a lot of music and enjoy it every day. On this day, our small harbour held three cruise ships.

I know that many pretty places in the world don't have facilities for berthing these huge ships so the smaller boats provide the link. Cruising is not for me.
Mary MacADNski: There were three ships in the harbour this day. One did not have a berth. They come at this time of year to see the autumn leaves.
I like the comp' of this, Mary, well seen. They didn't think that ships name through did they....smile
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Frank. I don't believe everything I read is true....
