It's a beautiful commute. Much better than my daily commute.
Mary MacADNski: A lot of my photos are of my commute. It is very pretty and all rural.

I am glad you stopped on this occasion, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: This is steps from the workplace. Looked at the clock and I had a couple of minutes.
Your landscapes are very similar to Sarah of 'Ellplate', and here's me telling her that her pic' was very 'English'. Great song from Van, one of my faves of his latest album, have you come across a book of his lyrics called ' Lit up inside'? Looks good.
Mary MacADNski: I have heard an interview which he posted on facebook about the book. Follow him on FB and you get some previews and news like that. I want to see him if it is all possible in England when I am there for the meet up/ CP's (not related) birthday party.
Great fall grasses... Van's voice is still fine...
Mary MacADNski: His voice has been very consistent. I like the well- rounded maturity better than the earliest Van. I love those grasses! Thank you.
Those golden grasses are always so beautiful!
Mary MacADNski: I love them too, especially in the sun.

Magnifiques couleurs d'automne.
Mary MacADNski: Gold, brown, green, gold and more gold.
I'd stop and share, too, Mary!
Mary MacADNski: Such a joy to see before work.

Looking quite brown now isn't it
Mary MacADNski: It is moreso now. That was still golden there though the sun was not shining.
I can see why Mary. Worth a few moments of a busy day
Mary MacADNski: I would have preferred some sunshine but could not wait around.
Such beauty in these russet tones
Mary MacADNski: Golds and russets are the best. The sun would have made the gold pop.

I'm nor surprised you want to stop and stare at it Mary - it must be very hard to set off again with views like that smile
Mary MacADNski: This was just a few steps from the workplace. I had a couple of minutes to spare.
I know you said the other day you always leave home with plenty of time but I can understand that if you want to stop occasionally to look at such lovely scenes as these.
Mary MacADNski: I do leave early many days. Our recent construction made that imperative but it is 99% finished. All lanes are fully open.

This is why I like your pictures. The trees, the water, the everything. Thank you, Mary. You live at such a great place.
Mary MacADNski: There is lots of water, lots of farmland and wonderful rural views. It is not for everyone but it is enough for me.

Great pictures, both of them.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Louis. A quick but nice stop right before work.

Absolutely superb, I prefer your second shot as the icy blue water really makes the Autumn colours sing.
Mary MacADNski: Some last week or coming up had some blue sky/blue water with the gold but for this shot it is still in the morning's low covering.
Lovely pics Mary - but I never could get interested in Morrison smile
Mary MacADNski: To each his own, I say, Music is a personal like.

Beautiful colous Mary, not unlike the landscape I photographed and yet on different continents!
Mary MacADNski: I see Frank mentioned the same thing regarding our offerings for the day.
