Murmuration

I was stopped along the road taking shots of a farmer plowing a field, hundreds of gulls following him, having a fresh worm dinner. A murmuration of starlings came along and I got several shots but this one was special.  Above the gulls and behind the blackbirds is an eagle. You first notice it's white tail then that broad expanse of wing. I cannot see it in the one below which was the shot after this, or in any other.

Oh, I had stopped, too - and I can imagine their voices! Wonderful images!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, they do certainly chat while doing their maneuvers.
