Black and Green

I think the black and white wins here.

Love this song. Played the Aretha version a lot as I had (still have) the album.

The B&W is really fantastic, Mary! Love it!!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks so much. The straight conversion stunned me.

Both versions are fabulous, Mary...pic and song!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks all 'round then.
I like them both, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I was stunned at the straight conversion to tell the truth.
I like both Mary, and they are good to compare.
Mary MacADNski: So different in feel, I find.

I agree. Mary, but both are delightfully fluffy
Mary MacADNski: True spring fluff that we won't experience for a while. In the middle of a powerful blizzard at the moment. Memories of two years ago's heavy snow are coming to mind.
At first I thought the B&W was an infrared image, Mary. Delightful. But as others are saying, I also like the color version.
Mary MacADNski: I like the straight conversion b/w immensley more. All individual likes and dislikes, eh?

Yes the b&w is best
Mary MacADNski: I find so very much though many like them equally.
They both work for me Mary

In my view the shades of green might win, sorry!
Mary MacADNski: Everyone's preference is perfectly valid - in all aspects.
I've got to be honest, I like both pictures equally.
Mary MacADNski: You are in the majority then.

The black and white is a likey.
Mary MacADNski: So much appreciated as I think it is so much better than the colour but you know I respect everyone's choice equally.

For once, i'm favouring the black and white version. The destruction of the background adds to the contrast of the spiky things especially.
Mary MacADNski: You described the why. My new monitor's gradient tests are coming out correctly.
Love both of them, but I think the B&W just shades it!
Mary MacADNski: I like that term.
wonderful willow wand
Mary MacADNski: Isn't it! A true sign of spring - from another year. We are involved in an intense noreaster for overnight wit over 100 km gusts expected.
