Boat Friday on Black Mondag With a Nod to the Sky

I wasn't sure whether to use this shot for a Friday, a Sunday or a Monday.  Monday won.

The clouds are just beautiful in B&W!
Mary MacADNski: A bit overblown but considering the time of day, not so bad.

I would be happy to see the colour version any day of the week, Mary, but the B&W version works best on Monday.
Mary MacADNski: Glad you had a look.

They look like two different pictures, Mary
Mary MacADNski: I find that is so, many times. I think those are the ones that I choose to convert.

I love both very much however I do like that dark moody sky in the B&W...
Well done, Mary.
Mary MacADNski: It is a bit overblown due to time of the day and amt. of beer drunk by the photog.
It totally amazes me how one image can be so changed by this kind of conversion, Mary. So Black Monday won out!
Mary MacADNski: I have been enjoying the b/w challenge of Monday.

Two for the price of one!
Mary MacADNski: That is just the kind of deal I would give.
Works fine in either although the sky has added drama in B&W
Mary MacADNski: Quite overblown, the sky is but I am a hobbyist.
Monday seems the perfect day Mary and I like the black and white image best. If this was Tuesday I might feel differently.
Mary MacADNski: I am glad you had time to look in. I just learned today you have been traveling. Oh, the places you've seen!
And I think the B&W wins, too!
Mary MacADNski: Seems the winner so far.

B&W wins all the way. Good choice.
Mary MacADNski: It is a bit overblown but I am not here as one with great skill, just a hobbyist.

The whiteness of the clouds is more visible on the b&w photo.
Mary MacADNski: That white is overblown. It was quite a glare.
the b/w conversion is excellent...
Mary MacADNski: I just press a button and there is no photoshop fixes.
I would have enjoyed both versions as much as I am today whenever you had posted them Mary.
Mary MacADNski: I may break loose from all these themes and show something different someday.

Any day of the week would be good for me. B&W works well this time as the clouds are more dominant.
Mary MacADNski: Way overblown clouds they are but I am not pretending top be a pro.
